Second knee op for Johnson

Northampton defender John Johnson requires a second knee operation that will rule him out until the new year.

Johnson is set to have another knee cartilage operation on Saturday, having previously gone under the knife early last month. The full-back's new injury is unrelated to his previous problem. "John Johnson is going in for an operation on his knee on Saturday and he will be out until January," said Cobblers boss Aidy Boothroyd.
