Forest defender could be set for loan move

Sky Sports understands a host of clubs have been alerted to Nottingham Forest defender Brendan Moloney's possible availability on loan. Moloney started the season for Forest as first-choice right-back, but has surprisingly lost his place in the side in recent weeks. Loan signing Sam Hutchinson has been preferred ahead of Moloney, with the 23-year-old dropping down to the bench. Several sides are thought to be keeping tabs on the Irishman's situation and are hoping to persuade Forest to loan him out for a short period. Moloney, who has come through the youth ranks at the City Ground, could be interested in a temporary exit to get some regular first-team action if he finds his chances limited at Forest.
