Barnsley have completed the permanent signing of defender Lee Collins from Port Vale.
The 23-year-old initially joined Barnsley on loan in March and made seven appearances for the club, including four starts, as Keith Hill's side battled to escape relegation. Collins, a former Wolves trainee, can operate as a central defender or at left-back, where he turned in an impressive display for the Tykes at Blackpool in early April.
