Robins loan Bodin to Alex

Swindon Town forward Billy Bodin has joined Crewe Alexandra on an emergency loan deal.

The 19-year-old will stay with the Railwaymen until the end of the season and the deal covers any possible participation in the League Two play-offs for Steve Davis' men. Bodin would not be permitted to play against his parent club in the unlikely event of the division's runaway leaders slipping into the play-off places. The Wales youth international enjoyed a successful loan spell with Torquay earlier this season, where one of his five goals in 19 appearances came against the the Railwaymen. Bodin then returned to Swindon, where he scored three goals in eight games since the new year. He could celebrate his 20th birthday by making his Crewe debut against Hereford on Saturday.
