Draw frustrates Bulls boss

Image: Pitman: Disappointed after defeat

Hereford manager Jamie Pitman bemoaned his side's fortunes after they drew 1-1 with high-flying Cheltenham in League Two.

Delroy Facey headed the Bulls in front in the first half at Edgar Street on Saturday, but the Robins hit back straight after the break with a powerful header from striker Kaid Mohamed. And Pitman, who praised his players, thought Hereford were unlucky not to claim all three points through Tom Barkhuizen's late missed chance. "It was a game of two halves, we were the better side in the first but probably Cheltenham were the better in the second on reflection," he said. "If you defend you can always get a chance and we would have backed Tom to have finished that one off. "Maybe our luck wasn't with us, but I can't ask any more of the players because I thought they were fantastic throughout. "I thought our early goal helped and throughout the first half we put the pressure on them. They pressurised us in the second half when we didn't get out of the defence at times. However, they also found it difficult in the first. "I have said to the players everybody here at the football club just want you to work hard and everyone of them did and I thought they were exceptional with their work rate."
