Northampton have succeeded in keeping defender Blair Adams at the club after confirming an extension on his loan from Sunderland.
Adams joined the League Two strugglers at the turn of the year and has now prolonged his stay at Sixfields by a further month. The left-back, 20, has so far made five appearances - all of them starts - for the Cobblers. Adams came through the youth system at Sunderland but has yet to make his first-team debut for the Black Cats.
