Northampton boss Gary Johnson has signed midfielder Arron Davies following his release by Peterborough United.
The 27-year-old is well known to Town boss Johnson, having played under the Londoner at Yeovil and Posh.
Johnson told the club's official website: "I first came across Arron when he was at Southampton. I took him to Yeovil and he did very well for me there.
"He was sold to Nottingham Forest after scoring against them in the play-off semi-finals a few years ago and I was fortunate enough to be able to take Arron to Peterborough as well, so I am pleased to be able to complete a hat-trick with him here."
