Northampton defender John Johnson insists the club are not worried about relegation despite their dreadful run of form.
Gary Johnson's side have taken just six points from their last 10 outings and are now 17th in League Two - just six points off the relegation zone.
Johnson said: "I wouldn't say confidence has drained around the squad but we're all very disappointed with the run we've been on.
"We know what we need to do to win games and we've got to stick together to do that.
"The manager has got us playing better football and we maybe need that little bit of luck.
"You always have to keep one eye on the table but we're going to try to look forwards rather than backwards."
