Millers launch Taylor appeal

Rotherham have appealed against the dismissal of Jason Taylor during Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Wycombe.

The midfielder, who had already been booked, received a straight red card in injury time after a tackle on Ben Strevens and now faces a three-match ban. But Millers boss Ronnie Moore has confirmed they have appealed the dismissal, meaning he will be available for Tuesday's clash at Stevenage. "We have appealed it. It certainly wasn't a malicious tackle," Moore said. "Hopefully they will see common sense and see it wasn't a malicious. "He can play at Stevenage, but if they think we are taking the mickey they can extend the ban to four games. "But we do believe that it wasn't a straight red."
