Ryan Jarvis has returned to Leyton Orient following the end of his loan spell at League Two outfit Northampton.

The striker spent a month at Sixfields, making four appearances without scoring a goal.

Cobblers manager Ian Sampson thanked Jarvis for his time.

"We would like to thank Ryan for his efforts here over the last month or so and wish him well for the future," he told the Herald & Post.

Jarvis played in Northampton's FA Cup second-round defeat to Sheffield Wednesday so is unavailable for Saturday's trip to Norwich.
