Millwall midfielder Chris Hackett is poised to sign a new two-year deal.
The 26-year-old has been a regular in Kenny Jackett's side this season and has scored two goals in 33 appearances.
Hackett is expected to put pen-to-paper on a deal that will keep him at the club until 2012 in the next few days.
"I'm really pleased to sign an extension to my contract and secure the next few years at the club," Hackett told the club's official website.
"I really enjoy playing for Millwall, the fans are terrific and working with the management team here has helped me improve my game.
"Now I hope to help Millwall win promotion to the Championship."
