Haining, Demontagnac and De Lucas hope to win deals

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway admits trialists Ishmael Demontagnac, Will Haining and Enrique De Lucas could all be offered contracts. The trio are currently aiming to catch Holloway's eye and featured in Saturday's pre-season friendly victory at Oldham Athletic. Holloway is set to take another look at the players against Everton on Tuesday and is keen to give former Chelsea midfielder De Lucas time to impress. "His pedigree is unbelievable - if he was a dog he'd win Crufts," Holloway told the Blackpool Gazette. "It is absolutely fantastic where he has been. But he has told me he is only 60 per cent fit. "He is a nice person and certainly not a big-time Charlie and we'll have a look at him." Of former Walsall winger Demontagnac, Holloway said: "I am thinking about working with him, though he has to keep behaving himself on and off the field. "He has got some fantastic ability. He needs to channel it and use it, but I will be trying to do some sort of deal which will reflect where he is and make sure that he is on his toes." And ex-Oldham centre-back Haining is another player in with a chance of securing a deal at Bloomfield Road for the coming season. Holloway continued: "He is what he showed he is, which is a very solid player who has played an awful lot of games in his life. "He doesn't panic and I don't think he could have done much better. I'll be talking with him."
