Notts County have clinched a double loan deal for Nathaniel Wedderburn and Mitchell Hanson. Teenage midfielder Wedderburn has joined the Magpies from Stoke City, while defender Hanson arrives from Derby County. Wedderburn has yet to make a senior appearance for Stoke, but is available for the Magpies' FA Cup tie with Kettering on Saturday. Hanson, who made his Derby debut earlier this month against Brighton in the Carling Cup, is not allowed to feature in the weekend's second-round FA Cup tie. However, Magpies boss Ian McParland is looking forward to having the promising duo in his squad over the next month. "We've managed to land two promising young players for the next month, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle the step up to first-team level with us," McParland told the club's official website. "They're two talented young players we have monitored closely, and I think they will be able to bring something to the squad - including some youthful exuberance."
