Gillingham striker Gary Mulligan has signed a new one-year deal with the club.
The 23-year-old moved to Priestfield from Sheffield United in January 2006 after a successful loan spell.
He was due to become a free agent this summer and had hinted that he was keen to move on following Gillingham's relegation from League One.
However, he has now shown his commitment to the club by penning a contract extension.
Mulligan scored five goals last season for Mark Stimson's men.
