Clubs reach an agreement
Chesterfield have successfully extended Brendan Moloney's loan from Nottingham Forest.
The Republic of Ireland Under 19 international joined the Spireites earlier this month on an initial one month deal and after the two clubs reached an agreement this week, he will now remain at Saltergate until the end of the season, subject to the paperwork being finalised.
The defender has played in all four fames for Lee Richardson's side since his move and scored a stunning goal in the 4-0 defeat at Hereford.
Return
Meanwhile winger Michael Barnes has returned to Manchester United after his month-long loan spell came to an end.
The 19-year-old made three appearances for the club.
