Cambridge United defender Warren Goodhind has signed a new one-year deal with the League Two club.

The former Barnet man, who was an ever-present in The U's backline last season, joins club captain Andy Duncan in agreeing new terms with the Abbey Stadium outfit.

Two players, however, have turned down new deals with Cambridge - with midfielder David Bridges and defender Fred Murray having decided to look for pastures new this summer.

Bridges had a trial earlier in the summer with Major League Soccer side New England Revolution while Murray is currently in discussions over a possible move to Northampton Town.
