Crewe will not be taking defender Stephane Zubar on loan from Bournemouth after running the rule over him on a trial basis.
The 27-year-old has been training with the League One club over the past week and played in an Under-21s match on Monday night. However, the centre-back's stay with the Railwaymen has been ended and he will now head back to his parent club. "He has been good enough to come up here and have a short trial with us and has been very good around the place," manager Steve Davis told Crewe's official website. "He has been a pleasure to work with."
