Vale backs Fleetwood for top

Port Vale manager Micky Adams fancies Fleetwood will finish towards the top this season despite his side's 5-2 win over them.

Tom Pope and Louis Dodds both scored twice and Ashley Vincent was also on target as the Valiants stunned their hosts, becoming only the second team to record a league win at Highbury since October 2011. Adams said: "We never expected a result like this from here. Fleetwood are a good side. At certain stages of the match we didn't feel safe or comfortable. "I'm not worried about league tables at the moment - and when I do at the end of the season I think we'll see Fleetwood there or thereabouts. "But we looked like we caused them problems every time we went forward. If we manage to do that, we'll have a good season."
