Kingsley James has signed a new one-year deal with Port Vale as the League Two club look to boost their squad for next season

The midfielder, 20, arrived from Sheffield United last summer but managed just five substitute appearances in his first season with the Valiants, while also embarking on a brief loan spell at non-league Chasetown. James becomes the seventh player to pen a new contract at Vale Park this summer after John McCombe, Louis Dodds, Lewis Haldane, Ben Williamson, Sam Johnson and Rob Taylor.
