Crewe boss Steve Davis was left stunned after AFC Wimbledon pulled off an unlikely comeback to draw 3-3 at Gresty Road.
First-half goals from Byron Moore, Nick Powell and Greg Pearson had cancelled out Bill Knott's early opener and put the Railwaymen in the driving seat. But Ashley Westwood missed a penalty for the hosts, keeper Seb Brown making the save, before Sammy Moore gave the visitors hope with nine minutes to go and Christian Jolley nodded in an unlikely equaliser in injury time as Alex were denied a fifth successive home win. Davis said: "I can't believe we didn't win that game and I'm still in shock if I'm honest. I got fed up with these kind of performances here for the last few years and I'm not going to put up with players who capitulate under pressure. "We should have won that game by five or six goals, we were that good for the first hour. But we need to take the chances we create when we are in charge or these things come back to bite you. "The penalty would have finished the game but Westwood missed and that gave them the spur they needed. We're all hurting after that but we need to take that hurt out in the derby game this week (Port Vale on Tuesday)."
