Notts County's Liam Chilvers is eyeing a return to Port Vale in 2012 after his loan spell with the Pilgrims ended on Saturday.

Vale manager Micky Adams stated before the weekend that he would like to do another deal for the 30-year-old, and Chilvers has also said that he would relish a return to Vale Park during the January transfer window after his three-month stint. "I have really enjoyed my time at Vale Park and I have got on really well with all the lads, so we will see what happens come January," Chilvers told the official Vale website. "It is nice to hear that the manager wants me to stay at Port Vale and the way it's looking, it could be a possibility. "As far as I know it would be a loan again for now, but I have told County that I am very happy to stay at Port Vale whether it is on a short or long-term deal."
