Port Vale's John McCombe is glad to have Lee Collins back as his central-defensive partner ahead of the trip to Cheltenham.
Collins made his long-awaited comeback in the 0-0 stalemate with Grimsby in the FA Cup, after missing two months of action with hernia and groin injuries.
McCombe, who also played with Collins at Hereford, thinks his return could inspire Vale.
"Lee is one of the most consistent players we have had over the last two or three years," he told the club's official website.
"He is a great player, a great athlete and he has got a lot of pace, which adds to the defence.
"I have known Lee for about five years now since we were at Hereford together and he was someone who I recommended to the manager here. He is obviously a great player and I like to play alongside him."
