Notts County have signed young Everton winger Femi Orenuga on a month's loan, while Liam Chilvers is staying on at Port Vale.
Orenuga trained with County on Thursday morning and will go straight into the squad to face Brentford at Meadow Lane on Saturday.
Everton snapped up Orenuga from Southend in 2009 on an academy scholarship when he was 15. The 18-year-old has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Premier League club.
Meanwhile, Notts defender Chilvers has had his loan spell at Port Vale extended to the maximum period of 93 days.
The 30-year-old's month-long stay at Vale Park was set to expire, but he will now remain with Micky Adams' men until December 24.
Vale have won two and drawn two of the four games that Chilvers has played in.
