Paul Sturrock insists Liam Dickinson was Southend's star despite not finding the net in Saturday's 4-0 romp at Rotherham.
Michael Timlin hit a stunning brace at the Don Valley Stadium, full-back Peter Gilbert scored for the second successive game while Neil Harris bagged his first goal since completing a summer switch from Millwall. But it was Harris' strike partner who came in for special praise from the Shrimpers boss. "My man of the match was Liam Dickinson, who set the tone for us from the first minute," Sturrock said. "He gave 100% and caused all sorts of problems."
