Port Vale defender Ritchie Sutton has left the club to join Conference outfit Mansfield Town.
The defender leaves Vale Park on a free transfer after his contract expired.
Manager Micky Adams told the club's official website: "I was hoping to speak to Ritchie face to face when he reported to the club for pre-season training on Wednesday.
"However, in the meantime, the offer from Mansfield came up and he has opted to join them."
