Port Vale striker Marc Richards has set his sights on signing a new contract with the club.
Richards is currently Vale's leading scorer with 10 in all competitions having also topped their charts last season with 11, narrowly edging out Louis Dodds.
His current deal expires in the summer meaning he is now free to speak to other interested clubs should he wish.
But, while no talks have yet taken place with Vale, the 27-year-old is keen to discuss a new deal.
"I'd be happy to sit down and talk about extending my contract," he told The Sentinel.
"At the moment, though, I want to concentrate on my own game and we'll take it from there."
