Port Vale have finalised a deal to keep midfielder Lewis Haldane from Bristol Rovers until the end of the season.
Haldane spent three months on loan at Vale Park earlier in the season and agreed to rejoin the League Two club last week.
However, Vale were waiting for Haldane to negotiate a settlement on his Rovers deal, which was due to expire in the summer.
The paperwork has now been completed and the 24-year-old will see out the rest of the campaign with Micky Adams' side.
Meanwhile, Adams is also hoping to agree a deal with Rovers to extend the loan spell of midfielder Sean Rigg.
Adams said: "It's okay us saying we would like to keep him, and we would like to, but Rovers will have a massive say.
"The boy has also got to want to stay too, but all the signs are that he would like to, so I don't see it being a problem."
