Stoke defender delighted to stay on at Oakwell until end of season

Stoke defender Carl Dickinson is delighted to have extended his loan stay at Barnsley until the end of the season. The 22-year-old joined the Tykes in September and has since appeared 13 times for Mark Robins' side, scoring once. He has spent much of the past three years on loan at Blackpool, Leeds and then Barnsley respectively and is delighted to have penned a new deal to stay on at Oakwell. He believes he can kick on and keep improving, telling the club's official website: "I am delighted to be back here and I have settled in really well.

Pleasing

"It is pleasing to know where I will be between now and the end of the season and I just want to do my best for Barnsley. "I think I have been getting stronger and better with each game. Hopefully I can kick on again now and keep doing that."
