Port Vale heaped more misery on bottom club Milton Keynes Dons with a 3-1 home win in the Potteries.
Leon Constantine gave The Valiants the lead on 13 minutes with a lob over the keeper before the visitors equalised just before the half-hour mark with a fine far-post header from Clive Platt following a Dean Lewington cross.
Vale restored their advantage for good ten minutes before half time from the penalty spot after MK Dons defender Craig Morgan brought down Nathan Lowndes in the box.
Constantine stepped up to convert his spot kick for 2-1 and they sealed all three points with a third goal in first-half injury time.
Michael Cummins converted substitute Chris Birchall's low cross from the right to make it 3-1.
The result keeps Vale in mid-table, while Danny Wilson's MK Dons look certainties for relegation - sitting seven points adrift of safety with six matches remaining.
