Gillingham have completed the signing of versatile forward Craig Fagan on a free transfer.

Fagan is reunited with Gills new boss Peter Taylor, who converted him from a right winger into a centre-forward with Hull, and will stay with the club until January 4 with a view to extending his deal until the end of the season. The 30-year-old, who can play on the wing or as a centre-forward, joins the Gills on a contract until January 4 with a view to extending his deal for the remainder of the season. He began his career with Birmingham City and enjoyed spells with the likes of Colchester, Bradford and Bury and while he can play against Sheffield United this weekend, he is unable to line up against Brackley in the FA Cup.
