Morale hits low at Underhill

Barnet captain Mark Hughes says morale is low at Underhill after they were hammered 4-0 by Bradford.

The Bees faced an uphill task when Darren Dennehy was sent off in the 17th minute for bringing down Craig Fagan in the box. The striker dispatched the penalty and goals from Will Atkinson, Kyel Reid and Nahki Wells followed in a demoralising defeat. Following Wells' strike, Barnet forward Izale McLeod and Michael Hector clashed as the low morale became all the more evident. "At the moment we don't look like the same group of players we were a few months ago, we've got to stop conceding goals," admitted Hughes. "The mood is low, that's four defeats in four, but the only way to rectify that is to get back to winning ways and be as professional as possible as individuals and hopefully the team can start picking up points. We need better performances." "If there are any positives to take, the reaction in the 20 minutes after the sending-off was good but the second goal before half-time was a sloppy one to concede."
