Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler has called on his team to get back to winning ways after their 1-0 loss to 10-man Southend.
The Gills are currently in a slump that has seen them take just a single point in their last four matches. "We have limited them and had enough chances to score goals but a lack of quality and a lack of belief has cost us the game," Hessenthaler said. "It's people not performing - it's as simple as that - and if we do not start performing we are going to get stuck in a rut. It's going to change and change very quickly. "I'm disappointed that we have gone down to a set play and given them a free header. They have punished us. "It's not easy to play against 10 men but it gave them a lift. They got a siege mentality and were the better team."
