Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler has hit out at his players' lack of fitness following their second consecutive league defeat.
The Gills have slipped to sixth in the League Two table, failing to score in losses against Shrewsbury and Rotherham.
Hessenthaler told BBC Radio Kent: "The boys train hard, but maybe they're not training hard enough.
"I'm not happy and the players know that. We've got to do better and make sure we bounce back next week.
"We've got another four games this month, and we need to go unbeaten for the next four games to get our target."
