Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler is in no rush to loan out members of his playing staff in search of first-team action.
Hessenthaler has a squad of 27 players to manage, but having made just one change to his starting 11 in the first five league games, he seems unlikely to adopt a squad rotation policy.
As the 45-year-old told Kent Online, neither is he eager to send players out on loan: "I want to keep players with us because I know how things can change.
"You only have to pick up a few injuries and having let players out on loan all of a sudden we kick ourselves in the foot.
"At the moment I am not looking for anyone to go out on loan.
"But things will change because you can't keep everyone happy."
