Skysports.com understands Crawley and Gillingham want to sign AFC Wimbledon star striker Danny Kedwell.
The Dons captain has stunned his newly-promoted Football League club by handing in a transfer request.
Crawley and Gillingham are therefore interested in securing Kedwell, who has scored an impressive 24 goals in 51 appearances for Wimbledon.
Wimbledon chief executive Erik Samuelson has admitted that the club has tried all they can to convince the 27-year-old to stay.
But they have accepted that Kedwell wants to leave and are seeking an 'appropriate' fee.
