Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler has revealed that he hopes to keep hold of midfielder Danny Spiller.
The former Dagenham player has made 19 appearances since joining the Gills in the summer but his current contract is due to expire at the end of December.
"He has played a lot of games and did well against Macclesfield," Hessenthaler told kentonline.co.uk. "We want him to stay.
"Hopefully he'll be a part of the team until the end of the season."
