Gillingham have confirmed the signing of former Ajax midfielder Stanley Aborah on an initial month's contract.
Skysports.com revealed earlier on Thursday that Aborah was set to sign a deal at Priestfield after impressing Andy Hessenthaler on trial.
The move for the 23-year-old, who has dual Ghanaian and Belgian citizenship, will provide Aborah with the chance to kick-start his career.
Having started his professional career at Ajax, Aborah has recently struggled with injuries and was on the books of second division Slovakian side AS Trencin last campaign before leaving at the end of the season.
Gills boss Hessenthaler has the option of extending the deal if it is finalised as it is renewable on a month-to-month basis, subject to international clearance.
