Stimson looks to loan out fringe players

Gillingham have made midfielders Stuart Lewis and Rashid Yussuf available to leave the club on loan. Both players have not had any involvement with the first team for a month, with manager Mark Stimson making them available to other clubs on Monday. 22-year-old Lewis last played in the Gills' 1-0 FA Cup defeat at Accrington, while Yussuff last appeared off the bench in the goalless draw with Colchester at the Priestfield Stadium. Also leaving the Gills on loan is striker Jacob Erskine, who has signed on a month's loan with Bishop's Stortford. Fellow striker Mark McCammon has also been offered a loan deal from a side in League Two and will make a decision on whether to agree to the move before the weekend. "Touch wood in the next 48 hours Mark McCammon might be going out on loan to a League Two club," Stimson told the club's official website. "Stuart Lewis is also available on loan."
