Seagulls midfielder arrives on loan

Dagenham & Redbridge have swooped to sign Brighton midfielder Doug Loft. Loft has joined the League Two outfit on loan until the end of the season. Daggers boss John Still was delighted to land the former England schoolboy performer and thanked Brighton boss Micky Adams for agreeing to the deal. "I'm absolutely delighted to have signed Doug Loft. He's someone that I have wanted to get for a while," Still told the club's official website. "I watched him a few times last season and I spoke to Micky Adams at various times about him. Micky and I have kept in touch and although Doug's not always been included in their starting line up he's been on the bench. "Micky said that if he could get someone in with a little more experience he'd let me take him on loan. I'm delighted that I've been able to bring him to the club"
