Defender joins on two-year deal
Bury have moved quickly to sign Efe Sodje following his departure from Gillingham.
Sodje left Priestfield by mutual consent on Tuesday to end a one-year stint with the club.
He spent time on loan at Bury last term and has now secured a permanent move to Gigg Lane.
The defender has signed a two-year deal and will also take up some coaching duties with the Shakers.
The former Nigeria international, who was at the World Cup in 2002, has had a long career in England and can list Luton, Crewe, Huddersfield and Southend among his former clubs.
