Bell, Perry and Morgan to depart

Luton manager Mick Harford has confirmed that he does not expect David Bell, Chris Perry and Dean Morgan to return to Kenilworth Road. The trio are all currently out on loan and Harford admits that the need to slash the relegated and administration-saddled side's wage bill means that they all set to leave in the summer. "We've got players out on loan at the minute and our intention is for them to stay where they are," he said. "We've got David Bell at Leicester, Chris Perry at Southampton and Dean Morgan at Crewe and that is a process we are working on. "We are trying to trim the squad and build a new side for League Two. We have got to reduce the wage bill and get this football club running to a proper business model."

Trial

Looking ahead to life after relegation, Luton have taken Northampton defender Brett Johnson on trial. "Brett has come in on trial from Northampton and has done okay," said Harford. "He hasn't played a lot of football lately so he will stay with us for a few more weeks. "He will work with us on the training ground and have another reserve game so we can have a proper look at him."
