Crystal Palace defender Matt Lawrence is putting a hernia operation on hold until the summer.
Lawrence has been struggling with the injury in recent weeks and was rested for Saturday's 2-0 win over Scunthorpe United.
Though surgery is required to fix the problem, Palace boss Neil Warnock confirmed Lawrence is prepared to leave it until the end of the season.
"Matt has got a bit of an injury and will need a hernia operation in the summer, so we have to see him through our remaining games," said Warnock.
"He will be available for our trip to Watford."
Lawrence has made 36 appearances in the Championship this season as Palace seek to hold on to a play-off spot.
