Gillingham midfielder Mark Bentley has signed a new two-year contract at the Priestfield Stadium.

Mark Bentley has signed a new two-year contract with Gillingham. The midfielder, who joined Gillingham in 2006, is now tied to the League One club until 2010. Bentley has scored five league goals since moving to the Priestfield Stadium from Southend and Gillingham chairman Paul Scally is delighted the 29-year has agreed to extend his stay at the club. "Mark is a key performer for Gillingham and gives his all every game," said Scally. "He is a popular member of the playing squad and will continue to give sterling service to the club."
