Gillingham defender Brent Sancho has been ruled out for six weeks with a leg injury.The 29-year-old picked up the problem during the first half of Saturday's 2-1 win at Doncaster when he collided with team-mate Mark Bentley.
He did not reappear after half time and then sat out the midweek game against Millwall.
Manager Ronnie Jepson is sad to lose the Trinidad & Tobago international, but is determined to bring in another centre back quickly to cover his absence.
"Sanch is going to be out for six weeks. It's a blow," said Jepson.
"He's been an integral part of the squad this season, is very influential and will be a big miss.
"I'm trying to add a centre half - I've been looking since pre-season to add to the competition in all departments of my squad."
