Gillingham have handed a trial to former Manchester City goalkeeper Brian Murphy.
The 23-year-old has travelled to the Kent club after his close-season release from Swansea.
Irishman Murphy was signed from City by former Swans boss Brian Flynn back in 2003.
Despite a promising start to his career with the club, the back-up keeper's first team opportunities became restricted by the form of Willy Gueret.
Murphy will now hope to impress Priestfield manager Ronnie Jepson and earn another League One contract.
