Ronnie Jepson has boosted Gillingham's attacking options with two Championship strikers.

Both Gary Mulligan from Sheffield United and Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu from Cardiff City have been brought in on Bosman frees.

Irish Under-21 international Mulligan impressed in two loan spells at The Priestfield Stadium and has signed a two-year deal.

The 23-year-old Ndumbu-Nsungu, who is a former Congolese Under-21 international, has also put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract.

Left midfielder Luke Howell, meanwhile, has signed a full time contract from the youth team.

And assistant manager Mick Doherty has also pledged his future to the club for two more years.

The Gills will be hoping the new signings will be able to help them turn their goal deficit around next season as they seek to earn promotion from League One.
