Crewe have confirmed that former Southend and Everton winger Femi Orenuga has joined on trial.
Orenuga, 21, became a free agent this summer when he left Swedish club Vasby United and could be involved in Crewe's friendlies this weekend against Norton United and Nantwich Town. Orenuga spent three seasons at Everton, who paid a nominal fee to Southend for him in 2009, but failed to make the first-team breakthrough at Goodison Park and was released in 2012.
