Crewe defender Adam Dugdale has signed a new three-year deal at Gresty Road tying him to the Cheshire club until 2015.

The 24-year-old centre-back was an integral part of Steve Davis' League Two play-off winning side last season and scored the vital semi-final first-leg winner at home to Southend. Dugdale's new deal extends his second spell with the Railwaymen up until the summer of 2015. The Liverpudlian initially came through Crewe's famed youth system, signing professional forms in 2006. He was subsequently loaned to Accrington and Southport before taking in spells with Droylsden, Barrow and Hyde. July 2010 brought a return to Alex, where Dugdale has 74 senior appearances to his name.
