Defender Adam Dugdale has agreed a new two-year contract with League Two club Crewe Alexandra.
The 24-year-old has established himself as a first-team fixture at Gresty Road with 41 appearances this term.
Dugdale is in his second spell with the Railwaymen having come through the club's famed youth system before being released with a solitary senior game to his name.
Spells with non-league sides Southport, Droylsden, Barrow and Hyde followed before he secured a return to Alex in summer 2010.
Dugdale follows Harry Davis in committing to two more seasons with Crewe, while negotiations with striker Ajay Leitch-Smith are also progressing well.
