Crewe goalkeeper Steve Phillips has shunned plaudits for his own personal form, insisting they should be for the whole team.
Since Davis' took over as manager from Dario Gradi at Gresty Road last month the Railwaymen are unbeaten in four League Two games.
Phillips made the headlines for the wrong reasons following an on-field bust-up with team-mate Adam Dugdale during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Crawley, although he made a string of important saves to preserve a point after Shaun Miller was sent off.
"I'm pretty pleased with the way I'm playing, but I think the season has gone quite well for everybody if you go through each individual," he said.
"I thought Dave (Artell) was outstanding on Saturday, just back from his Achilles injury. In the back four, Toots (Matt Tootle) has gone back to right back and has been outstanding since he's gone back there. Carl Martin is playing out of position - you can go through the whole team. Lee Bell, I think, has been very good in the past couple of games.
"So if you're asking me personally how I've played, that's how I've played throughout my career and hopefully it will continue until the end of the season."
